For the third year in a row, the RJB team headed to a Phillies game together. Teammates brought their families and plus ones, giving us a chance to spend an evening together away from project schedules, meetings, and jobsites.
It has become one of those traditions we look forward to each year. Some of us know every player on the field; others are there for the company, the ballpark food, and a good night out. Either way, it is always fun to see everyone together outside of work.
More Than a Team Outing
RJB's work takes our people in different directions. Our field and office teams do not always get the chance to slow down and catch up, and families often know the names behind the stories without having met the people themselves. Inviting plus ones makes the outing a little more personal and gives everyone room to connect.
There is something special about seeing coworkers with their partners, kids, and friends, sharing a few laughs and cheering for the same team. These are simple moments, but they are part of what makes an annual outing worth repeating.
